Colorado theater shooting: Warner CEO Barry Meyers sends email to staff

Warner Bros. Chief Executive and Chairman Barry Meyer sent the following email to employees Friday afternoon following the early-morning massacre at a screening of the Burbank studio’s movie “The Dark Knight Rises” in Colorado:

Dear Colleagues:

The entire Warner Bros. family joins our nation and the world in shock and sadness following the incident that occurred in Colorado early this morning. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this time.

This senseless violence and tragic loss of life reach far beyond that small community and touch every one of us.
