Live chat with ‘The Good Wife’s’ Josh Charles

Share

It was the death that made an aging drama feel young again — and the TV world took notice.

In CBS legal drama “The Good Wife,” Will Gardner was the ambitous and prideful lawyer of Lockhart/Gardner — once the central law firm — and a friend that blurred the lines with protagonist Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies).

The character, played by Josh Charles, was at the center of key moments this season that injected some oompf into the fifth-year drama: namely, the desk-clearing scene in which Will learned Alicia was splitting off to start her own firm and Will’s rewind-to-believe death in the second half of the season.

Charles will join us here at the Los Angeles Times for a live chat at 10 a.m. Monday PDT to discuss the taut, emotional, invigorating season and his character’s role in that.
