When she isn’t busy looking perfect, being Tom Brady’s wife, a mother of two or a model, apparently, Gisele Bundchen also sings.
Right. Because we really needed something else to make us feel sufficiently inferior today.
The 33-year-old Brazilian beauty shows off her vocal chops in the latest behind-the-scenes trailer for an H&M ad -- and she isn’t half bad.
Excuse us while we go give ourselves a pep talk in the mirror.
The year’s highest-earning supermodel, who is the face and voice of the brand’s fall campaign, covers the Kinks “All Day and All of the Night” in the black-and-white short. She’s seen in the recording studio breathily laying down the track and joking with producers. She’s decked out in a checked shirt, skinny jeans and furry vest as she embraces her new role.
The tune is pretty catchy, too, and her accent makes the whole thing all the more hypnotic. (Ugh, right?!)
The single will be available for free download on H&M’s website Sept. 12. But if fans purchase it on iTunes, proceeds will go to UNICEF to purchase vaccines for children, according to the Swedish brand.
“I am so excited to be the face of H&M this autumn. I love the street style look, and that we can raise funds for a good cause. I hope everyone downloads my song,” Bundchen said via H&M’s website.
The new collection features tough but feminine street-syle looks that include utilitarian coats and blazers worn with blouses, sweatshirts and pants, H&M said.
Still, this video makes us want to seek out a self-help group rather than buy clothes for fall.
