Khloe Kardashian is busy promoting her famous family’s fashion line abroad -- and perhaps strategically dodging homeland scrutiny of her personal issues.

The youngest Kardashian sister made appearances in Australia and Britain this week to promote the Kardashian Kollection’s Lipsy launch on the heels of admitting on the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” finale that she’d be opening up to her family about her marital woes with Lamar Odom.

The 29-year-old reality-TV star has been back in the spotlight and scrutinized for months since reports surfaced that Odom was struggling with drug addiction that may have led to infidelity.

Though Kardashian didn’t address the issues specifically (either in person or on her E! show), she did say she has had trouble coping with the constant media attention.

“I think everyone needs some me time,” Kardashian told to E! News. “But with our show, we’ve been filming with the same camera crew for so long that they’re like family. And it’s weird because they are also like a comfort zone for me, the people. But not everything, I believe.”

“Sometimes you’re like, ‘I just don’t want to be bothered by anyone,’ not even a girlfriend. Sometimes you really just want to lock yourself in a room and have your personal space.”

Despite her personal struggle, the fashionista said that through it all, she was grateful for her family and fan base.

“It really is such a blessing just to feel that you have such a good support system, no matter what you’re going through, even in the good times. It’s so awesome to see people that root for you even if you don’t know them.”

Speaking to BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw on the second day of her London trip, she also talked about the best and worst things about being Khloe Kardashian.

“The best thing is -- I love having so many brothers and sisters,” she said. “They’re my best friends. But it’s probably a double-edged sword. I mean, it’s not the worst, but we fight a lot ... but it’s the best.”

Uh, OK.

And because she was promoting a fashion line, after all, Kardashian admitted that she had an unexpected style icon: Kate Middleton, the duchess of Cambridge. (Hey, she was across the pond!)

“I love her,” she told E!. “Everything she does is so chic.”

This from the same girl who said she was reintroducing “ghetto fab” into her family’s life on TV. Something tells us the duchess won’t be rocking high ponytails or “hoochie hoops” anytime soon.
