Kim Kardashian to leave ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’?

Kim Kardashian may not be returning for a 10th season of her family’s reality series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” according to her interview with Dujour magazine.

Well, well, well, looks as if Kimmie has finally comprehended the notion of TMI. We suppose she’s learning her lesson at least in part from her high-profile divorce from Kris Humphries after their 72 days of marriage.

The juggernaut E! series, which spawned several spinoffs and launched Kardashian’s entire family to fame shortly after her own sex tape gave her celebrity, is currently taping its eighth season. She’s still on board for the ninth season, she told the mag.

“I think there’s always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life,” she told Dujour. “It’s all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I’m realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you’re actually living it, it could be completely different.”

The 32-year-old said that the show has been “truly, the best family movie ever” but would be horrified at replaying some moments from past seasons.

[Updated, 1:52 p.m. Feb. 20: Hold on just a minute! Kardashian clarified her comments in the mag in a blog post Wednesday afternoon, saying she’s signed on to the show through the 10th season, so fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

“The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it,” she wrote. “It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other. I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond.”]

“When you live your life so publicly, like on a reality show, people assume that they know every side of you already. But they always want more,” she added. “Doing a TV show with your family, it’s really hard to hide or be guarded.... Besides, we don’t want to film a show if we can’t be who we are, because that’s just too much work.”

Kardashian, who has mind-bogglingly parlayed her scandalous start into a multimillion-dollar brand, owes this newfound privacy to her new beau and father of her unborn child, Kanye West.

“My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities,” she added.

The reality TV starlet previously said that she didn’t want her child on the show, which is a stark contrast from her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, who had cameras in the delivery room as she gave birth to her first child, Mason. (She pulled that little sucker right out of her own womb, too.)

The question remains: What will the mogul tweet about when she isn’t bombarding her followers with urges to watch her reality series? Nail polish, perfume scents and hairstyles, we’re sure.

E! did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
