‘The Flash’ reveals Kid Flash in full super suit for Season 3

Share

The CW comic book universe is teeming with super fast supers, and now there’s one more: Behold Kid Flash in full superhero gear.

This sneak peek of “The Flash” Season 3 shows Wally West all suited up as Kid Flash. Played by Keiynan Lonsdale, the character West was introduced last season, but this is the first time we’ve seen him in full super mode.

After “The Flash’s” timeline changing season finale, a lot of comic book fans were wondering if the third season would mimic the “Flashpoint” story arc from the comic book series. This would allow the CW to combine its previously disjointed universes (specifically, the timelines and worlds occupied by “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow”) into one, gigantic DC universe.

Seemingly confirming this fan theory, Flash actor Grant Gustin (a.k.a. Barry Allen) revealed the name of the first episode, “Flashpoint” on his Twitter account. So get excited, continuity fans – the series will echo the books (in some way or manner, at least).

The Kid Flash suit is the first glimpse into the new world “The Flash” created when Barry went back in time to save his mother, forever altering the future.

“Flashpoint” will premiere Oct. 4.
