‘Idol’ alums are being greeted by eager selfie-taking fans

Let the madness begin! Inside the Dolby Theatre fans have crowded three levels of balconies that overlook the lobby screaming for "Idol" alums as they stream through the lobby. A gaggle of young girls run by shouting "MacKenzie" as the finalist, Mackenzie Bourg, is ushered into the venue. Previous "Idol" winner Scotty McCreery, alum Colton Dixon and Season 15 finalist Dalton Rapattoni arrive within minutes of each other, all to thunderous screams in the lobby as security tries to usher eager fans off the steps. Multiple velvet ropes have been set up in the lobby to contain fans trying to get selfies with their "Idol" favorites. Good luck, guys!
