Event: US Air Guitar Championships at Key Club

The current reigning air guitar champ in the U.S. is the fabulously named Matt “Romeo Dance Cheetah” Cornelison, but like the empire of Rome, he will eventually fall. At this regional air-off of the U.S. Air Guitar Championships, competitors will get 60 seconds of play in two rounds (freestyle and compulsory), after which they will either get to advance on the power of their Pete Townshend-esque windmills, or be sent home. The winner of the night will then go off to the finals in Chicago, and then, you guessed it, Oulu, Finland, for the Air Guitar World Championships.
