Street Sight In the postwar years, there was a shift away from the picturesque and the anecdotal in Southern California photography to a more conceptual and experiential mode, one that took into account artistic processes and that was anchored firmly to the image maker’s conveyance of choice in navigating the midcentury landscape: the car. The exhibition “Street Sight” tracks this shift with works from the late 1960s to the early 1980s, including those by Adam Bartos, Darryl Curran, Bevan Davies, John Divola, Judy Fiskin, Robbert Flick, Dennis Hopper, Graham Howe, Grant Mudford, Jane O’Neal, Marvin Rand, Seymour Rosen, Ed Ruscha, Julian Wasser and Terry Wild. Armory Center for the Arts, 145 N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena. Opening reception, 7-9 p.m. Free. (626) 792-5101. https://www.armoryarts.org.
