Venice may have breathtaking views and speedboats as transport, but in no way does that make the Toronto International Film Festival inferior. What the annual Canadian event lacks in dramatic landscapes it more than makes up in A-list attendance. During the festival, the cultural hub hosts superstars like Madonna, George Clooney and even U2. Here’s a preview of the hottest parties on deck for 2011.

Soho House Toronto: Following the success of last year’s pop-up space, the members-only club returns to host a slew of after-parties for flicks showing. Clooney and his “The Ides of March” costar Ryan Gosling will be partying there, as will Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen for “A Dangerous Method,” and Glenn Close and Jonathan Rhys Meyers for “Albert Nobbs.”

BlackBerry: The telecom giant takes over King Street West’s Brassaii for big bashes like that following the “50/50” premiere, with Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anna Kendrick and Anjelica Huston, in addition to the celebration for “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” featuring Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas.

The Variety Studio: The Hollywood trade publication is back with its intimate space for interviews, mingling and even some Nintendo gaming. RSVPs include “Twilight Saga” star Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Olsen, Hugh Dancy, Olivia Wilde, Justin Bartha and Jennifer Garner.
