Katy Perry and guitarist Robert Ackroyd go for PDA at Coachella

Katy Perry and Russell Brand split just months ago, but now there’s somebody else ... and somebody else ... and somebody else.

There have been rumors of something “serious” -- but a better word might be snuggly.

Perry, for instance, reportedly got snuggly at Coachella over the weekend, sharing a little PDA with Robert Ackroyd, guitarist for Florence + the Machine. Oh look, it’s another handsome British performer.

There’s photographic evidence of the pair holding hands and hugging, and of Ackroyd bending Perry back for what looks to be one heck of a smooch, during the twosome’s second weekend in a row at the desert music festival. (The photo above is from the previous weekend.)

Ackroyd was very happy on Twitter: “Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP.”

But perhaps not in that order?

This likely isn’t Perry’s first post-Brand liplock. The “moving on” talk began to heat up when she was seen getting snuggly with model Baptiste Giabiconi. Last month, his rep reportedly confirmed a relationship: “They’re feeling it out.”

Coincidentally, that appeared to be what Perry and Ackroyd were doing at Coachella.

Perry and Brand’s divorce will become final over the summer, since they filed settlement papers in February and California law attaches a six-month waiting period before it’s all legal. A photo of the divorce documents in the Daily Mail showed that Perry included a smiley face with her signature.

That’s one way to lighten up a divorce.

Meanwhile, on the “serious” side, Brand was said to be developing a closer and closer relationship with model Nikolett Barabas, who said the comedian and actor is “amazing.”

Of course, Brand can’t step out with any woman without pictures being snapped and conjectures made -- i.e. the recent lunch in L.A. with a “mystery” blond. Then there was Oriela Medellin, another model, whom People referred to as Brand’s “yoga flirt.”

Moving on ... and on ... and on ...
