Kate Winslet landed herself an early Christmas gift of the musical variety: a reported husband in Ned Rock’nroll.

The nephew of Sir Richard Branson (yes, his legal name is Rock’nroll) and Winslet wed in early December, reports People.

“I can confirm that Kate Winslet married Ned Rock’nRoll in NY earlier this month in a private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family,” a Winslet rep told the mag.

“The couple had been engaged since the summer.”

Leonardo DiCaprio, Winslet’s “Titanic” costar, is said to have given her away at the ceremony so exclusive that parents of both bride and groom were unaware it took place.

Rumblings of Kate and Ned’s romance came to light in an appropriately cinematic fashion in 2011 when Winslet was vacationing on Branson’s Necker Island (a private paradise in the British Virgin Islands).

Lightning set the island’s main house ablaze, making a hero of Winslet for evacuating Branson’s 90-year-old grandmother Eve.

Winslet counts previous marriages in directors Sam Mendes and Jim Threapleton. She has two kids, Mia and Joe.

[For the record, noon Dec. 28: A previous version of the headline on this post misidentified Ned Rock’nroll as Nate.]
