Casting agency looking for Electric Daisy Carnival documentary stars

The man who gave the world DJ Pauly D is looking for a few good ravers for his next project.
Pop & Hiss was pleased to be on the receiving end of a notice from Doron Ofir Casting, the agency that corralled the stars of “Jersey Shore” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” The casting call is looking for EDM fans with plans to attend the 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, and who wouldn’t mind letting a camera crew tag along for the ride as part of an official documentary project.
“DO YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE UNDER THE ELECTRIC SKY?,” it asks. “We want to know who you are and what your EDC story is and maybe you’ll be asked to share your experience with the world!!”
Fans are invited to apply at edcthemovie.com, though they must have a ticket to be considered.
This isn’t Doron Ofir’s first attempt at an EDM-themed project. The former nightclub promoter raised eyebrows in January with plans for a DJ-themed competition reality show. But to judge from this Spin interview, he clearly knows his stuff, and if anyone has an eye for outsized personalities in the neon fields of EDC, it’s probably Ofir.
