The House of Blues has been the epicenter of the Central Florida music world for the past 10 days.

Colbie Caillat, Shinedown, Pitbull, Blues Traveler and Hanson all made their way through the venue, most of them with sold-out shows.

But, leave it to the youngsters to upstage everyone.

All-Time Low sported tons of energy and the bra-throwing, mosh-pit loving, sold-out crowd was in a frenzy for more than three hours as the Glamour Kills Tour hit Orlando on Sunday night.

The band made a name for itself by using social media to its advantage, but their live show is nothing that a computer screen can even compare to.

The show felt like partial improv, partial storytellers and partial party music … almost like the wedding band you wished everyone would hire.

The entire band has a unique sense of humor, with plenty of their material said with tongue firmly planted in cheek. At the outset, the band professed their love for their hometown NFL team, the Baltimore Ravens, before hammering the state of Florida for horrible football. Lead singer Alex Gaskarth excused the football futility by saying that is cool that one of Florida’s teams (the Dolphins) was in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He heard a few jeers from faithful Bucs fans, but got the place roaring with laughter.

The music was nothing to laugh at.

Gaskarth was especially good, providing both upbeat rock anthems and a beautiful, stripped-down acoustic set that got the ladies squealing. His energetic vocals were prevalent during “Weightless,” “Damned if I Do Ya” and “Too Much.”

But Gaskarth didn’t hog the spotlight, giving way to Jack Barakat, one of the most energetic guitarists in the industry. He bounded from one side of the stage to the other and even jumped into the crowd for the last song of the show. He is also known amongst his fans as the guy who collects bras, and they came flying from all directions during the show. By the end of the night, there were at least 20 hanging on his mic stand.

Consider it Orlando’s parting gift to the band, and a hope that it wasn’t a one-night stand.
