Thursday’s TV Highlights: The Republican National Convention

Thirteen Ivy (Jodie Comer) resolves to save Phoebe (Isabel Shanahan) even if it means putting her own life at risk, while Lisa and Elliott (Valene Kane, Richard Rankin) take pains to ensure Ivy’s safety as she sets up a meeting with Mark White (Peter McDonald), but they gravely underestimate the cleverness of their adversary. 6 p.m. BBC America
Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge The most difficult course the contenders have faced yet awaits them in the season finale. 8 p.m. NBC
Bones In the season finale Brennan (Emily Deschanel) struggles with guilt over not stopping a serial killer, who retains his murder victims’ bodies for a time. Ryan O’Neal reprises his guest role as Brennan’s father. David Boreanaz also stars. 8 p.m. Fox
Alone The remaining participants battle for supremacy; after pushing their minds and bodies to the breaking point in the season finale, 8 p.m. History. A season reunion episode follows at 9.
Beauty and the Beast AnnaLynne McCord guest stars as a mystery woman who works with Vincent (Jay Ryan) on an undercover operation — and is discovered to be a hired killer, making Cat (Kristin Kreuk) frantic to contact Vincent. Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello and Nicole Gale Anderson also star. 9 p.m. KTLA
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll Gigi (Elizabeth Gillies) gives mixed signals to Flash (John Corbett) while Ava (Elaine Hendrix) works on her solo debut. 10 p.m. FX
SPECIALS
Republican National Convention C-SPAN begins its final day of coverage with a preview of scheduled events, programs and speeches, (7:30 a.m. and Noon), followed by live coverage (4:30 p.m.). Cable news channels, including CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, Bloomberg and MSNBC, will incorporate coverage into their regular programming and as breaking news. Donald J. Trump’s prime-time acceptance speech will be broadcast and included in special programming on PBS (5 p.m.); CBS, NBC, KTLA and ABC (7 p.m.).
Syfy Presents: Live From Comic-Con Will Arnett ventures into the annual event that routinely qualifies as the biggest party of the summer as Syfy presents the massive fan convention in San Diego. Tony Hale; Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, John Cho and Sofia Boutella (“Star Trek Beyond”); Zachary Levi (“Heroes Reborn”) are featured. 8 p.m. Syfy

Dragon Blade An exiled Chinese general offers shelter to a renegade Roman and his legion, then becomes involved in the soldier’s dispute with Rome’s villainous consul in this uneven 2015 Chinese-Hong Kong action film. Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrien Brody star. 9:45 p.m. Cinemax
