TBS orders CeeLo Green reality series
While Usher’s foot gets comfy in CeeLo Green’s revolving red chair over on “The Voice” comes news the bald virtuoso is set to appear on another reality show: his own.
TBS has ordered six episodes of “The CeeLo Life” (working title), which will follow the music star as he handles a full schedule of producing, recording, performing, and finding bawdy outfits to wear. The series will also follow his journey with longtime partners -- Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo -- as they work to bring their hip-hop group Goodie Mob back on the scene with a new album.
The series, which is being produced by Emerald TV Productions and Rogue Atlas, will premiere on the network next year. Green will serve as one of its executive producers.

“On behalf of Emerald, we are honored for this opportunity to entertain and extend the life of a long legacy of classic programming at TBS – which in our book stands for The Best Station,” Green said in a statement. “Atlanta, your native sons, the Goodie Mob, will make us all proud.”
As far as his other show, no word yet on who of the rotating judges panel will return for the fifth season of “The Voice.”
