‘Breaking Bad’-mouth this! Talk show will follow final episodes

Share

AMC is putting out the “bad” word about the final episodes of its hit drama “Breaking Bad” with a new companion talk show.

“Talking Bad” will be in the tradition of “Talking Dead,” the popular live discussion show that follows each installment of “The Walking Dead.” Like that show, “Talking Bad” will be a weekly half-hour show with a host and panel analyzing and dissecting the just-aired episode of “Breaking Bad,” along with trivia and audience participation.

A host for “Talking Bad” has not yet been announced.

“Breaking Bad” and “Talking Bad” will premiere Aug. 11.

“Talking Dead” became a hit on its own as host Chris Hardwick dissected each episode with a panel of celebrity guests, all either associated with or just fans of “The Walking Dead.” The series steadily grew in popularity, averaging 4.5 million viewers.
