Cookie Monster will appear Monday at 11 a.m. PDT for a live chat to discuss the new season of "Sesame Street," his new segment, "Cookie's Crumby Pictures," and the show's added emphasis on self-regulation in children.
Just what is self-regulation? It's a curriculum of self-control in children which allows them to appropriately respond to their environment and, hopefully, perform better in school.
Or to translate it to Cookie Monster terms, it means learning concepts like delayed gratification, and not necessarily devouring cookies upon first sight.

In recent years, Cookie Monster has become a bit of an Internet sensation. He filmed a parody of Carly Rae Jepson's single "Call Me Maybe" last summer titled "Share It Maybe," which has been viewed over 14 million times on YouTube.
