“Thank you so much to the viewers that have stuck with us,” said actress Joanne Froggatt in accepting the award. “Thank you for keeping us on this journey.”

The popular drama about an aristocratic British family and its servants is in its fifth season and has broken ratings records for PBS. The ensemble cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Maggie Smith, Laura Carmichael and Phyllis Logan.

This is the second time “Downton Abbey” has won the SAG Award for drama ensemble, following a win in 2013.

The 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards are being held at the Shrine Exposition Center and airing live on TBS and TNT.
