Elisabeth Hasselbeck leaving ‘The View’; who should replace her?

Attention women of “The View”: Soon you won’t have Elisabeth Hasselbeck to push around any more.

The sole conservative voice on the four- (sometimes five-) woman panel announced on Tuesday that Wednesday would be her final day on “The View.” She’s moving over to “Fox & Friends” on Fox News.

So now the question is: Who should replace Hasselbeck?

With Barbara Walters departing in 2014 and Joy Behar leaving at the end of the current season, the show is undergoing a radical transformation. While Walters’ presence on the show was only part-time, Behar’s seat could soon be filled by former Playboy model Jenny McCarthy. So who will take up the conservative cause?

While Hasselbeck’s relative youth sometimes worked against her in debates with the far more senior Walters, the new replacement doesn’t necessarily have to be young. Hasselbeck was just 25 when she started on “The View.” But there’s plenty of big names in the conservative movement that are older than that, including former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, never one to shy away from a TV camera.

Or perhaps Michele Bachmann, who is not running for re-election to Congress?

Cast your vote below for who you’d like to see take Hasselbeck’s seat on “The View.”
