Cameron Diaz surprised most of the world by quietly marrying rocker Benji Madden in a private ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills on Monday. Of course, that led everyone to wonder, ‘What did she wear?’ Absent any information on that score, WWD reminds us that it could have been any number of designers. Diaz sits front row at Dior, Versace and Armani; is pals with Drew Barrymore, whose father-in-law is Chanel’s former chief executive; and has a new sister-in-law in designer Nicole Richie, who is married to Madden’s brother Joel. Now that awards season has kicked off with the Palm Springs Film Festival, People declares that the stylish couples to watch on red carpets this year are Benedict Cumberbatch and his fiancee, Sophie Hunter, Eddie Redmayne and his new wife, Hannah Bagshawe, and David and Jessica Oyelowo. The gentlemen are all likely Oscar nominees for “The Imitation Game,” “The Theory of Everything” and “Selma,” respectively. [People]
