The Cut calls out the New York Post for referring to fashion designer L’Wren Scott as “the Yoko” of the Rolling Stones. Scott, who committed suicide on Monday, was the longtime girlfriend of the Stones’ Mick Jagger. But unlike the Beatles, who broke up after Yoko Ono and John Lennon got together, the Rolling Stones are still going strong in their 52nd year. [The Cut]

Jagger, who was in Australia with the Stones preparing to launch a concert tour when news broke of Scott’s death, has returned to the United States to be with family and plan a memorial service for her. [People]
