It’s not quite summer yet, but already we can look forward to scoring some easy, elegant fashion come fall, thanks to Target’s just-announced collaboration with Joseph Altuzarra.

Altuzarra is known for sophisticated but easy-to-wear clothing that is favored by celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Dockery, Cameron Diaz and Cate Blanchett. Since establishing his namesake line in 2008, he’s won accolades including the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Swarovski Award for Womenswear in 2012, and he’s a finalist for Womenswear Designer of the Year this year. (The winner will be announced June 2; the other two finalists are Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang.)

Items in his main Altuzarra collection are pricey: $748 for a pencil skirt, more than $1,000 for a blouse and more than $4,000 for a bead-embellished blazer, just to cite a few pieces currently on the market. The Target limited edition capsule collection will bring the Altuzarra aesthetic down to an affordable price range of $17.99 to $89.99 for lingerie and apparel and $29.99 to $79.99 for shoes and accessories.

In a news release, Altuzarra says he has admired the “elegance that Target brings to fast fashion.”

“By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere,” he says.

There are nearly 50 items in the collection, which is scheduled to go on sale Sept. 14 in most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as online. An edited assortment of items will also be available globally on Net-A-Porter.
