What the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing in New York

Share

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge changed clothes a couple of times on Monday, the day after she and her husband Prince William arrived for a whirlwind trip to New York City (and briefly to Washington for him).

During the day she visited the Northside Center for Child Development with NYC First Lady Chirlane McCray and wore a white-trimmed black coat dress.

Later she switched to dark pants and a three-quarter coat to meet Hillary Rodham Clinton (wearing dark pants and a red coat) and daughter Chelsea at a reception at the British consul general’s residence sponsored by the Royal Foundation and Clinton Foundation.

She wore the same outfit later to a Cleveland Cavaliers-Brooklyn Nets game (where she and the Duke posed for some particularly stiff photos with NBA officials).

The day before, the Duchess wore a Beulah London black lace cocktail dress to a private gathering and a plum Seraphine coat when she arrived at the Carlyle House hotel.

Through it all she kept up her usual chic look -- while staying warm in a city where temperatures lingered in the 30s.
