Fashion News: John Galliano moving to L.A.? Gaga’s Fame on sale

Former Dior creative head John Galliano, who famously lost his job last year amid a scandal over anti-Semitic rants (and who subsequently went to rehab to deal with the underlying causes of his meltdown) reportedly is considering moving to Los Angeles. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Fame, Lady Gaga’s much-hyped first fragrance, went on sale in a pop-up shop in Tokyo’s Harajuku district. It won’t be available in the States until September. [WWD]

Katy Perry is on the cover of Elle’s September issue, wearing a candy-pink dress. But her long dark hair (with purple streaks, natch), bangs and cat’s-eye makeup reminded me of Elizabeth Taylor in “Cleopatra.”

And the September cover of O! The Oprah Magazine for the first time pictures Oprah Winfrey wearing her own, natural, unprocessed hair. It’s actually a quite glamorous look, and she reminds me a bit of Cleopatra too. [O]

The Windsors aren’t the only European royalty at the London Olympics. Princess Charlene of Monaco is cheering on the South Africa swim team (of which she was once a member), and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was seen at several events. [The Cut]
