Clarins, Macy’s launch ‘Gift with Purpose’

Share

It’s become common for upscale beauty brands to offer a gift with a purchase. Now Clarins is taking that idea, mixing in a dose of philanthropy and turning it into what the company is calling a “Gift with Purpose.”

From now through April 20, Clarins has partnered exclusively with Macy’s on the deal: when a consumer purchases two Clarins items (one of which must be a skincare product) at Macy’s, 10 school lunches will be provided to needy children through model and activist Lauren Bush’s FEED program.

And on top of that, the customer will receive a beauty gift bag.

Clarins has been working with FEED since 2011 and reports it has already surpassed its initial goal of providing 1 million meals over two years. The new goal is to provide 2.5 million meals over the course of two years.
