Pucci goes 'Radioactive'; 'Versailles '73' to be released online

Emilio Pucci designer Peter Dundas, who has been dressing a bevy of celebs on the red carpet lately, is creating the wardrobe for British pop star Rita Ora's "The Radioactive Tour," which kicked off Monday with a concert in Manchester, Britain. The costumes will perfectly echo her "urban glamour," according to a news release from Pucci, while interpreting some of the key themes of the Pucci spring/summer 2013 collection. We expect lots of sparkle, and are hoping for some fab sunglasses, which have become a bit of an Ora signature, too.

When you title the first single of your upcoming album "Suit & Tie" you better make sure you're dressed to the nines -- and in the track's new video, Justin Timberlake turns it up to 11 in some serious Tom Ford suits. One of the most famous fashion face-offs in history will soon be available for viewing on a small screen near you. The documentary film “Versailles ’73: American Runway Revolution,” follows the staging in 1973 of runway shows at the Palace of Versailles by five prominent American designers -- Anne Klein, Stephen Burrows, Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, and Halston -- and five high-profile French designers -- Yves St. Laurent, Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, Pierre Cardin, and Emanuel Ungaro. 

Directed, written and produced by Deborah Riley Draper,  "Versailles '73" will be available Feb. 12 via iTunes, Amazon, YouTube and other video-on-demand platforms.

It's good to see that some in the fashion world are pushing the boundaries technology-wise. Designer Kimberly Ovitz and 3D printing marketplace Shapeways will be collaborating on a line of jewelry using 3D printing technology, it was announced Monday. The armor-like pieces, designed to form-fit the body and constructed of dyed nylon, will debut at the designer's New York Fashion Week runway show.

Cheap chic Canadian fashion brand Joe Fresh will be expanding across the U.S. via J.C. Penney stores beginning March 15. 

LA designer Jenni Kayne and celeb stylist Estee Stanley have launched kids style blog called Ladys & Gents.
