Jennifer Lopez has been acting, singing and dancing since her first minor role in a film called “My Little Girl” way back in 1986.

On Thursday, her mastery in all those areas was immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Lopez dressed up for the occasion in a Christian Dior off-white cashmere and silk knitted top with a coral satin skirt.

Her boyfriend, Casper Smart, was on hand, along with her two children by ex-husband Marc Anthony and various other family members.

Speakers extolling Lopez’s virtues included Gregory Nava, who directed her in her major breakout film role when she played the title character in “Selena” in 1997; Keenan Ivory Wyans, star of television’s “In Living Color,” where Lopez was a dancing “Fly Girl” in the early 1990s; Jane Fonda, with whom she starred in 2005’s “Monster-in-Law”’ and Pitbull, with whom she recorded a new single, “Live It Up.”

But we think Lopez’s couture outfit, with a slightly high-low skirt, stole the show.
