Free barbecue at Bludso’s in honor of Cowboys-Bears game

Bludso’s Bar & Que on La Brea announced that Kevin Bludso, the Compton-by-way-of-Texas BBQ maestro behind its menu, will be smoking a 50-pound pig on Monday and giving away the barbecued meat in honor of the Dallas Cowboys-Chicago Bears “Monday Night Football” game at 5:30 p.m.
It’s first come, first served (so plan to leave work early). Gratis hog or no, the full regular menu will also be available -- along with Pabst Blue Ribbon for $3 and $5 Texas margaritas all night.
Watch the Bears try to defend DeMarco Murray’s running in below-freezing Chicago weather on one of Bludso’s big screens. Are Bears fans doomed? Maybe. But it’s a win all around for ‘cue fans.
