Goin-Styne takes its Larder to Burton Way

Share

What’s up with Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne? All of a sudden, they seem to be opening everywhere. The proprietors of Lucques, AOC and Tavern announced last month that they would be opening a new fine-dining restaurant in Montecito. And now they say they’ll have a third installment of their Larder food-to-go concept open this fall.

The first Larder was in the entrance to Tavern. The second opened in the old Maple Drive space. The newest addition will be in the ground floor of developer Rick Caruso’s latest luxury project at 8500 Burton Way.

The new residential development, which a release boasts will offer amenities rivaling those “offered only by the most refined hotels,” will open in October and the new Larder (to be called simply Larder at Burton Way) is scheduled to begin serving in December.

So in addition to “a private rooftop deck with a saltwater pool and spa and well-appointed club room, a state-of-the-art fitness center and personal trainers, 24-hour attendant and call center, Five-Star Concierge, on-site valet, one-touch concierge service, exclusive residents-only events … dog walking and a VIP valet pass to the Grove and the Americana at Brand, among many other unparalleled benefits,” residents of the building will be able to enjoy room service from the Larder, including “fresh sandwiches, pastries, salads, fruits, breakfast items, soups, artisanal coffees, cookies and seasonal fruits.”

And if you live in Beverly Hills, but not at Burton Way, there will be a delivery service available. The rest of us, of course, are free to drive in.
