Juan Uribe injures hamstring in Dodgers’ loss

The Dodgers expect to learn more Friday about the severity of Juan Uribe’s hamstring injury.

Uribe felt something in his right hamstring Thursday night when grounding into an inning-ending doubleplay in the seventh inning, according to Manager Don Mattingly. Uribe was removed in the ninth inning.

Speaking after the Dodgers’ 3-1, 11-inning defeat the San Francisco Giants, Mattingly said he didn’t know how the extent of Uribe’s injury.

But Mattingly said, “It was enough to get him out of there.”

Uribe is batting .306 with four home runs and 17 runs batted in.

If Uribe is sidelined, the Dodgers would likely turn to Justin Turner or Chone Figgins to play third base.
