Adding latimes.com to your address book
Below, you'll find instructions for several popular mail services and programs. If the ISP you use to receive your e-mails is not listed below, you will need to designate us as a trusted sender. This can be accomplished by adding our "From" address (i.e. latimes@e-mail.latimes.com) to your address book, contact list or safe list.

Scroll to your ISP below and follow the directions.

AOL


1. Open the e-mail you received from latimes.com.
2. Click on the "Add Address" button, found on the *right-hand side* of the message window
3. Click on the "Save" button

**Can't see images? In the upper right corner of the message window, click Show images & enable links.

EARTHLINK
1. Open the e-mail you received from latimes.com
2. Click ADD TO ADDRESS BOOK
3. Click SAVE on the next screen

GMAIL
1. Click on CONTACTS
2. Select ADD CONTACT from upper right hand corner
3. Type " latimes@e-mail.latimes.com " into the PRIMARY EMAIL field, click SAVE.

* If Gmail has identified our e-mail as Spam and filtered it into your Spam folder, select the checkbox to the left of the e-mail and click on the "Not Spam" button.

** Can't see images? At the top of the message click "Display external images"

HOTMAIL
1. Open the e-mail you received from latimes.com
2. Click SAVE ADDRESS at the top of the message header
3. Click OK on the next screen

* If Hotmail has identified our e-mail as junk and filtered it into your Junk Mail folder, click on the "Not Junk Mail" button.

** Can't see images? At the top of the message click "Never disable content from this sender."

YAHOO
1. Click on the Add to Address Book link that appears next to the From Address.
2. You'll be taken to a new screen. Click on the "Add to Address Book" button here.
3. You will then see a confirmation message at the top of your screen indicating that latimes@e-mail.latimes.com has been placed in your Address Book.

NOTE: If you have enabled Image Blocking with Yahoo, you will need to take additional steps to ensure that images appear within your e-mail messages. Otherwise, Yahoo will block all images including those in messages from your Trusted Senders. Please follow the steps below:
4. Click on Mail Options in the upper right corner of your browser to access the Options page.
5. Click on General Preferences under the Personalization heading.
6. Go to the Security section and UNCHECK the box marked: Block HTML Graphics in e-mail messages from being downloaded.
7. Then click Save at either the top or bottom of your browser.
