Yemen’s president arrives in the Saudi capital, Riyadh
Yemen’s embattled President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi has arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, according to state media reports.
Hadi flew into an airbase in Riyadh where he was met by Saudi Defense Minister Prince Mohammed, the son of King Salman, and intelligence chief Khalid bin Ali al-Humaidan, the official Saudi Press Agency reported. Hadi reportedly fled the city of Aden by boat on Wednesday as Houti rebels advanced on his southern Yemen stronghold.
