Danial Mafoe of Carson (2-2, 1-0) had 14 kills, nine blocks and Cesar Cordero added 16 aces at Gardena (0-2, 0-1).
NORTHERN LEAGUE
Eagle Rock d. Franklin, 25-8, 25-10, 25-23
Jonel DeLosReyes had 20 kills and three aces and Gabriel Guerrero 33 assists for the host Eagles (2-3, 2-2). Franklin fell to 0-4, 0-3.
VALLEY MISSION LEAGUE
Sylmar d. Monroe, 25-22, 25-20, 28-26
Jacob Shelton had 10 kills and four blocks and Chris Thomas had 23 assists to lead visiting Sylmar (2-2, 1-0) past Monroe (0-4, 0-1). The victory marked the first time in seven years Sylmar has defeated Monroe.
WEST VALLEY LEAGUE
Chatsworth d. Granada Hills, 25-20, 25-18, 25-11
Jeff Grella had 13 kills and Julian Cirri contributed seven blocks for Chatsworth (5-0, 2-0) at Granada Hills (4-1, 1-1). Kris Manansala had 12 kills for Granada Hills.
El Camino Real d. Birmingham, 25-16, 25-27, 25-15, 25-21
Omeed Jamali had 10 kills and Leo Rodriguez and Chris Petros each had eight kills to lead host El Camino Real (3-2, 2-0).
WESTERN LEAGUE

Jason Schall had eight kills and setter Rusty Barmeson had 29 assists and two aces for Palisades (3-1, 1-0) at Westchester. Brett Vegas had six digs for the Dolphins.

Steve Becerra had seven kills and Yashi Aquino had 23 assists to lead host Verdugo Hills (3-1, 1-0) over Sun Valley Poly (1-3, 0-1).

Jonel DeLosReyes had 21 kills and three aces to lead the Eagles (1-3, 1-2) to the road victory. Gabriel Guerrero had 27 assists for Eagle Rock. Marshall is 2-1, 1-1 in league.
