Show Spotlight: Kia K900

Share

Kia’s focus at the show will be the stateside debut of its sophisticated new flagship sedan, the K900. Due on sale next year, the rear-drive K900 will come with either a V-6 or V-8 engine and, in a stateside first for Kia, will boast an array of high-end amenities aimed squarely at luxury buyers.

While the K900 shares a platform with Hyundai’s swanky Equus, it’s slightly shorter and, word is, it’ll be fitted with sportier suspension, steering and engine tuning than its sister model. The K900 should also be equipped with smart cruise control, full-color heads-up display, a 9.2-inch navigation screen, and an around-car camera system enabling a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle’s surroundings.

If you can take your eyes off the K900 at the Kia exhibit, you’ll also see the marque’s latest Cadenza premium sedans and cute Soul compacts.
