L.A. Times iOS app FAQ

Cost of Subscription

How much is a subscription on the iPhone/iPad app?

There are two levels in the Los Angeles Times mobile app:

  • Visitor: Enjoy a select number of free articles each calendar month in the Los Angeles Times mobile app.
  • Unlimited Digital Access subscriber: This is your all-access pass to the Los Angeles Times app, latimes.com as well as other benefits for $15.99 a month.

What do I get with my subscription?

Your Unlimited Digital Access subscription includes access to the eNewspaper and the latimes.com website. If you purchased your subscription via an in-app purchase, you will need to create a separate registration in the app so that you have a username and password to use for access.

When do I get charged?

  • Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and identify the cost of the renewal.
  • Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s App Store account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
  • Information on how to view, change or cancel a subscription purchased on an iPad or iPhone can be obtained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098
