Airline merger: An article in the Dec. 3 Business section about the merger of United Air Lines and Continental Airlines said that once the merger was completed next year, the Angus cheeseburgers offered on Continental planes would be eliminated. In fact, the burgers will continue to be offered on planes equipped with the ovens to heat them. The article also said the member-only airport lounges would be named United Club. The airlines adopted that name for their lounges in October. Also, the story said the new merged airline would adopt the policies of United and Continental, but the two airlines have already implemented some of each other’s policies.
