Ski resorts: A Dec. 30 Business section article about the relative lack of snow at Lake Tahoe-area ski resorts quoted Vail Resorts spokeswoman Jessica VanPernis as saying that instead of hitting the slopes, many visitors are hiking, ice skating, shopping and eating out. Rather, she said visitors engage in these activities but not necessarily to the exclusion of skiing and snowboarding.
Igudesman & Joo: In the Oct. 17 Calendar section, a review of a concert by Igudesman & Joo said the musical duo gave a master class at the Santa Monica Academy of Music. The class was at the SOL-LA Music Academy.
