Jacqueline Piatigorsky: The obituary of chess champion and patron Jacqueline Piatigorsky in the July 22 California section misspelled the first name of her son, Joram Piatigorsky, as Jorem.
Car donations: An article in the July 22 Business section about donating cars to charity misidentified Daniel Borochoff as president of Charity Navigator. He is president of CharityWatch.
Olympic gymnastics: In the July 27 special section on the London Olympic Games, an article previewing the gymnastics competition misspelled the first name of Japan’s Kohei Uchimura as Koehei.
