“The Newsroom”: In the Aug. 25 Calendar section, an article about “The Newsroom” said that David Brinkley and Dan Rather were among the TV journalists whose images appeared in the opening credits during the first season of the HBO series. Journalists’ images were seen, but Brinkley’s and Rather’s were not among them.

“Jackass Presents”: In the Sept. 1 Calendar section, a movie listing for “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” said that the film was written by Preston Lacy and Jeff Tremaine. The comedy was written by Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine.

World 3-D Film Expo: In the Sept. 5 Calendar section, an article about the World 3-D Film Expo misspelled the name of the Arriflex camera as Aeroflex.

Black Sabbath: In the Sept. 5 Calendar section, a review of a Black Sabbath concert said that the song “Dirty Women” was from a 1976 album that was the band’s last before singer Ozzy Osbourne was replaced by Ronnie James Dio. That album was the second-to-last before the changeover.

FYF Fest: In the Aug. 20 Calendar section, an article about bands performing at last weekend’s FYF Fest in downtown L.A. said that Steven McDonald of Redd Cross and Off! would be playing with the band Flag. It was Stephen Egerton, of the bands The Descendents and All, who was playing. The article also said that Bill Stevenson, also of The Descendents and All, would be playing with Flag. It should have noted that he previously had played with Black Flag.

Fitness for kids: In the Aug. 31 Saturday section, an article about exercise classes for children misspelled the first name of the founder of Zooga Yoga in Culver City. It is Antonia King, not Antonio.
