Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near The Geysers, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Thursday afternoon three miles from The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:36 p.m. Pacific time.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 13 miles from Healdsburg, Calif., 17 miles from Windsor, Calif., and 72 miles from Sacramento.
