6 critically injured in multi-vehicle accident in Northridge
Investigators were trying to determine Wednesday night what caused a multi-vehicle accident in Northridge that left six people in critical condition.
The accident occurred near Tampa Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard shortly before 8:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Some of the victims were sprawled on the street when rescuers arrived, according to television news reports.
The victims were taken to local hospitals.
Los Angeles Police Department investigators were at the scene gathering evidence. No other details were immediately available.
