DJ maestro Calvin Harris was briefly hospitalized after a vehicle he was traveling in was involved in a head-on collision in Sherman Oaks late Friday night, police said.

Harris, riding in a Cadillac SUV, was traveling on Coldwater Canyon south of Ventura Boulevard about 11 p.m. when a Volkswagen Beetle crossed into its path after taking a tight turn.

The Scottish producer, who has dated Taylor Swift, suffered facial cuts above his nose and left a hospital after briefly seeing doctors, authorities said.

At least one of the five people in the Beetle suffered a broken pelvis.

The vehicle was driven by a 16-year-old girl, police said.

In a Facebook post, his team said the producer, whose real name is Adam Wiles, said he would miss a Saturday night performance in Las Vegas and be laid up recovering for a few days.

"Adam's transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days."
