Detectives investigate homicide in Laguna Hills neighborhood
Detectives Thursday night were investigating a homicide in an upscale Laguna Hills neighborhood.
The man was found late Wednesday at a home in the 25200 block of Stockport Street, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. His name and age were not released.
The department said detectives had not determined a motive but believed the slaying was an isolated incident. Department officials did not discuss how the man was killed.
Neighbors told KCAL Channel 9 that they were shocked to see detectives swarming the neighborhood as they searched for clues.
“It’s kind of scary,” Katie Neal said. “It just makes me a little bit nervous that this could be going on literally right outside your door.”
