3.9-magnitude earthquake rattles Ocotillo Wells area near border of San Diego, Imperial counties
A 3.9-magnitude earthquake rattled communities near the border of San Diego and Imperial counties early Thursday.
The temblor hit shortly before 5:50 a.m. about 12 miles southeast of Ocotillo Wells near the Salton Sea. The quake had a depth of about 7 miles, according to the United States Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of any damage.
