Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near Lucerne, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Thursday afternoon 10 miles from Lucerne, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:02 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 7.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 18 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 27 miles from Ukiah, Calif., and 78 miles from Sacramento, California.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
