LIVE VIDEO: L.A. Kings take second victory tour in three years
The Los Angeles Kings make their second victory lap in three seasons today as they celebrate winning the Stanley Cup with a parade through downtown.
The Kings climbed from a deep deficit to hockey's highest heights, becoming NHL champions Friday when they defeated the New York Rangers 3-2 in double overtime. The Kings also won the NHL championship in 2012.
Fans are expected to line a one-mile stretch of Figueroa Street for the parade, and the team will make its way down the street in a double-decker bus. The procession begins at noon.
