Man, 12-year-old boy found dead inside Hemet home; suspect sought
Homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of a 44-year-old man and 12-year-old boy whose bodies were found late Wednesday inside a home in Hemet.
Hemet Police Lt. Dean Evans said detectives believe their deaths were not random and that “the suspect may be known” to them.
Police received calls about the bodies inside the home in the 400 block of Winthrop Drive at about 11:28 p.m.
Few details have been released about how the man and boy were killed or if they were related. Few other details were available mid-Thursday.
Coroner’s officials declined to the release the names of the victims because of the ongoing investigation.
