Orange County woman held in boyfriend’s stabbing death
A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested Saturday in the stabbing death of her boyfriend, who was found lying fatally wounded in a neighbor’s front yard, authorities said.
Michelle Green, 50, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was being held in lieu of $1-million bail, with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
The 52-year-old victim lived with Green in the 24700 block of La Vida Drive. His name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
Deputies were called to a home in the 24800 block of La Vida at about 8:40 p.m. and found the victim with a stab wound to the abdomen. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Hallock said.
Investigators said Green and the victim had been involved in a domestic dispute. However, the circumstances of the stabbing and a motive have not been determined.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-7000 or (714) 647-7044.
