Restaurant worker found stabbed to death in Venice
A restaurant worker was found sprawled in the street with fatal stab wounds in Venice early Monday, authorities said.
Officers and paramedics were called to the scene near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Washington Boulevard at about 12:15 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics told police they found a man in his mid-20s face down in the street who had been stabbed. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A watch commander at LAPD’s Pacific Station said it was his understanding the man worked in a nearby restaurant.
The deceased man’s identity was not immediately released and there was no description of suspects available.
